Monetize your expertise: sell your courses and events from WebinarForge
The entrepreneurs who use WebinarForge asked for it: the ability to sell their courses and paid events without leaving the platform. It's now possible. Here's how the built-in monetization works and why it changes the game for creators.
Why we built monetization
For months, WebinarForge users prepared their webinars, built their offers, generated their visuals, and organized their broadcasts. But when it came to selling, they had to switch to another payment tool, create a link manually, and track transactions in a spreadsheet.
This friction slowed everything down. A smooth journey from idea to sale shouldn't break at the most important moment. So we built monetization directly into WebinarForge, at the community's request.
How it works: integrated Stripe Connect
WebinarForge uses Stripe Connect to let each creator collect their sales securely. The process is simple:
- •Guided onboarding: the creator connects their Stripe Standard account directly from WebinarForge. Eligibility is verified upfront to avoid surprises.
- •Payment links: once the account is connected, the creator generates payment links for their courses or paid events. Each link is tied to a specific project.
- •Automatic commission: the platform commission is deducted automatically on each transaction. The rate depends on the subscription plan: 3% for Business, 10% for Pro, 20% for Starter. The creator receives the rest directly in their Stripe account.
- •Managed refunds: in case of a full refund, the commission is automatically returned. No manual calculation, no surprises.
Selling courses and events
Two types of sales are possible from WebinarForge:
Course sales: if you've created a course in the learning space (available from Starter), you can enable it for sale. The price is set in euros, and each buyer automatically gets access to the lessons after payment.
Paid events: on your webinar registration page, you can enable paid registration. Attendees pay before receiving their connection link. The amount and currency are configurable per project.
In both cases, the buyer's journey is integrated: they pay on a secure Stripe page, then immediately access the content or event. No redirect to an external tool.
For creators not eligible for Stripe
Not all countries are covered by Stripe Connect yet. For creators who can't open a Stripe account, WebinarForge offers an alternative: the external payment link. The creator enters the URL of their own local payment solution (Mobile Money, bank transfer, other platform). The transaction happens outside WebinarForge, but tracking stays centralized in the project.
This approach ensures no creator is blocked, regardless of their country, while keeping the journey coherent.
The earnings dashboard
Each project has a transaction tracker: gross amount, commission deducted, net earnings, payment status. The creator knows exactly how much they earned, on which sale, and when the payment was made. This transparency is essential for running a content business.
What it changes for entrepreneurs
Before, a creator had to assemble WebinarForge for preparation, Stripe for payment, a course tool for delivery, and a spreadsheet for tracking. Now the journey is continuous: the idea is validated, the offer is built, the webinar is prepared, the course is created, and the sale happens — all in the same tool.
This continuity is what entrepreneurs asked for. This is what we delivered.
